Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the three-axle German Mercedes-Benz G 3a truck in ambulance form, in 1:72 scale. According to the manufacturer the package contains injection-molded plastic parts, a photo-etched fret, clear film and decals. It is a type of vehicle that rarely turns up in dioramas and yet was part of the ordinary equipment of German units.
The G 3a was a three-axle truck with drive to the rear axles, produced from the beginning of the 1930s. It came about in answer to a requirement for a cross-country vehicle with improved mobility and became the basis of a whole range of purpose-built bodies, from radio vehicles through workshop trucks to the ambulance version. The box ambulance body had a characteristically tall, angular shape.
In a small scale the parts are tiny; separate them with nippers only just before gluing and work with tweezers. Bend the photo-etch over an edge rather than breaking it. Paint the chassis and the wheels before you assemble the vehicle, because you will not reach them later. Paint the cab and the body separately. At the end, work dust pigments into the lower part and onto the wheel rims.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
