This injection-molded plastic kit captures the German Magirus M 206 truck in the Kfz.68 configuration - a signals vehicle with an extending antenna mast (Funkmastkraftwagen). The Magirus M 206 was one of the light to medium trucks used by the German army during the Second World War. The Kfz.68 variant carried a radio set and an extending mast to secure communications, which made it an important part of command and signals units. It is precisely the specialized body that makes the model a rewarding addition to a diorama.
Clean the flash off the small chassis and body parts and put them together dry first. Finish and paint the frame and the running gear before closing up the bed. Thin plastic cement is the right choice, with a primer through the airbrush and weathering with washes and pigments that bring out the riveting and emphasize the wear of field equipment.
