Pre-cut spraying masks for the cabin glazing of a model of the Marcel Bloch MB-200 in 1:72 scale. According to the name they are cut for the Heller, Smer and KP Models kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Bloch MB-200 is a French twin-engine bomber of the middle of the 1930s. Its angular fuselage, high-set wing and fixed landing gear gave it a form that became obsolete before it could spread widely, and that is exactly why it is rewarding for a modeler. The machine was also built under license in Czechoslovakia. On a model the glazing and the open crew positions are the most visible, that is, the places that decide the final impression and at the same time take the most time when painting.
Cabin frames are hard to go around with a brush. The line wanders, paint gets onto the glass and putting it right tends to be worse than the original mistake. Pre-cut shapes are applied to the clear molding exactly along the frames, the remaining area is covered and the frame is sprayed over in the same shade as the surrounding skin. Once they are removed, the edge is left sharp and the glass clean.
First wash the clear parts and let them dry perfectly, because a mask does not hold on a greasy surface. Lift the individual shapes with pointed tweezers, seat them dry, check the position and only then press them down all the way around. Spray in several light coats; a single heavy application gets under the edge and the edge is blurred. Take the mask off shortly after the paint has dried, because the longer it stays on the model, the harder it is to remove.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
