Reskit 1:72 Mark 77 napalm bombs Mod. 2 (2 pcs) is a 3D-printed resin add-on set of two of the more modern American incendiary bombs. It is not an aircraft model but armament for completing a kit in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains two pieces of the American incendiary (napalm) bomb Mark 77 in the Mod. 2 version, printed in resin by 3D technology. It is an armament accessory, not an aircraft model — the bombs are intended to be hung on the pylons of a kit you have already built, in 1:72 scale. The maker is Reskit, which specializes in resin and 3D-printed detail parts for aircraft modelers.
The Mark 77 is a more modern American aerial incendiary bomb that followed the older napalm bombs of the Vietnam War period. In construction it is a thin-walled container filled with thickened incendiary mixture; the bomb has no conventional tail surfaces and is dropped from low altitude. The Mod. 2 version belongs to a family of weapons that stayed in the US Air Force and Navy inventory long after Vietnam and were carried by attack and multirole aircraft of the Cold War and of later conflicts. For modelers it is a prominent item of underwing armament with a characteristically smooth shape.
For modelers who build American attack and multirole aircraft in 1:72 scale and want to add realistic incendiary armament of a quality that plastic parts from a box usually do not offer. With so few parts, fitting is quick, but it does call for super glue and basic experience of working with resin.
This is not an aircraft model but add-on armament. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
