Injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian attack helicopter Mil Mi-28A Havoc in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The box contains plastic sprues, clear parts and a decal sheet. The model offers a manageable build of a striking subject of modern combat equipment.
The Mil Mi-28 Havoc is a Russian two-seat attack helicopter intended to destroy armor, ground targets and slow airborne opponents. Unlike the coaxial-rotor Kamov machines it has the conventional layout with a main rotor and a tail rotor. The crew sit in tandem one behind the other in a heavily armored cockpit. The Mi-28A version was an early pre-production variant without the full night equipment, which came only with the later Mi-28N.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the tandem cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Lay down a primer before the color coats and apply the paints with an airbrush. Leave the main rotor and the tail rotor for the end. Finish the slung armament and the camouflage scheme according to the marking option you choose.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
