A replacement Martin-Baker Mk.4 ejection seat for models of the Mirage F.1C and F.1C-200 in 1:72 scale. The package holds one piece. According to the title the part is prepared for the Special Hobby, Hasegawa and Esci kits. It is not a kit but an accessory for one.
Of the whole cockpit the seat is the most visible, especially if you build the model with the canopy slid back. In kits from older molds it tends to be simplified into a few surfaces without guide rails, headrest or head box, and in 1:72 scale even a layman will notice that when looking down from above. The replacement part brings the shape and the breakdown of the seat ready made, so there is no gluing on of small sections in plastic and in etched metal.
The Mirage F.1 was a French single-seat fighter with a swept wing mounted high on the fuselage, that is, a different layout from the one the earlier delta Mirages had. The F.1C version served as a fighter; the C-200 designation carries the form adapted for air-to-air refueling.
For builders who want to finish a cockpit without assembling small parts, and for owners of older Mirage F.1 kits, where the original seat is the weakest point of the interior.
The package holds the part named. The model, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
