Responsibility details are not available.
A mounted set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale with twelve figures and twelve horses. The riders are in four poses, the horses in two. It is supplied unpainted and unassembled, with the rider seated separately.
Dragoons were originally mounted infantry who always dismounted to fight, but during the eighteenth century they became full cavalry for every task. In the Russian army of the Napoleonic era they formed the most numerous mounted element: they cost less than cuirassiers, were more versatile than hussars and served equally well for reconnaissance, for screening the flanks and for a charge in close order. They wore a crested helmet and a dark green coat, a shade that set the Russian army apart on the battlefield at a glance.
Paint the horses before you seat the riders; afterwards a brush cannot reach between the leg and the flank. Mix the dark green coat lighter than reality would suggest, otherwise in 1:72 it merges with black. Darken the helmet crest and lighten only the edge. Do not mix the horses into a single color; various shades of brown and chestnut will enliven the group.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Paints, glue and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
