75 mm gun wz.1897 Schneider 1:72 from First to Fight: an injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish field gun, with two complete pieces in the box.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale represents the 75 mm field gun model 1897 Schneider in Polish service. The box holds two complete gun models, each made up of a small number of parts. The set suits both as an addition to dioramas and as a stand-alone model of period artillery.
The wz. 1897 gun derives from the famous French Canon de 75 of 1897, one of the first modern quick-firing field guns with a hydraulic recoil system. The Polish army used these guns as its standard field artillery, among other things during the defensive campaign of 1939. The version depicted is horse drawn.
Thanks to the low parts count the build is quick; take care to glue the carriage and the wheels cleanly. Glue the plastic with thin cement and, after spraying a primer, paint with an airbrush or a brush. Weathering (dust, mud on the wheels) is created with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
