Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unglued plastic figures in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The package contains roughly 18 riders on horseback in about 8 poses with varied weapons and equipment. The figures are meant to be assembled and painted and suit dioramas as well as tabletop games.
Hussars were the light cavalry of the Russian army during the Napoleonic Wars, roughly in the years 1812 to 1814, the time of Napoleon's invasion of Russia and of the campaign into central Europe that followed. They were used for reconnaissance, screening and swift raids. They wore striking uniforms with braiding and a fur cap and were armed with a curved saber.
Separate the parts from the frame and join the riders to their horses. Use plastic cement or cyanoacrylate. Apply a base coat, paint with a brush or an airbrush and bring out the braiding and the uniform detail with a fine brush and a wash. Look up the regimental colors for the particular hussar regiment.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
