New Ware 1:72 Sikorsky CH-54 A: BASIC Kabuki masks (for ICM 72001) is the entry-level masking set focused on the essential: the cockpit glazing. Stick, spray, peel, and you have sharp window frames without laborious hand masking.
Responsibility details are not available.
The entry level of die-cut masks from the Czech brand New Ware for the kit of the Sikorsky CH-54 A heavy helicopter in 1:72 scale. The set is cut precisely for the ICM kit (72001) and will not fit another model. It is not a kit and not a helicopter part but an accessory for painting. The masks are cut from Kabuki tape, a premium Japanese masking material (yellow washi paper tape) that is flexible, follows curved shapes well, adheres precisely and leaves no adhesive behind when peeled off.
BASIC is the smallest in extent of the three New Ware levels for this helicopter. It covers the essentials, the masks for the cockpit glazing. It is meant for the modeler whose main concern is sharp window frames and who does not need to mask further elements. The more extensive levels are ADVANCED (which adds the wheels, position lights and further elements) and EXPERT (the fullest set, including small details, lettering and camouflage transitions); you can move up to either later if you want to mask more.
For builders of the ICM CH-54 A in 1:72 who want the simplest route to a cleanly sprayed cockpit. Anyone who also plans to mask the wheels, lights and details will reach for the ADVANCED or EXPERT level.
A stand-alone masking set. It does not contain the model, paints or glue. Intended for the Sikorsky CH-54 A kit from ICM (72001) in 1:72 scale.
