This is a 3D printed resin detail set from IBG models, not a kit. The insert faithfully reproduces the tube frame and the fittings of the cockpit of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V in 1:72 scale. This variant is rendered without the underseat armor, so that it matches a particular rendition of the real subject.
It replaces the simplified plastic interior with a finely printed insert with its tube framework, frames and details, which otherwise only come out with difficulty in a small scale. The difference between the version with the armor and the one without makes it possible to build the correct version of a particular aircraft.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, clean and degrease them. The thin 3D printed items are fragile, so work with them calmly and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before the fuselage is closed up, black the insert in, let it dry and pick out the detail with a wash.
This is a detail accessory, not an airplane model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
