A set of plastic figures from the manufacturer Italeri in 1:72 scale. The package holds mounted knights with horses, unassembled and unpainted, in several different poses. The theme is the Templar knights of the Middle Ages.
The Templar order was among the best-known knightly and monastic orders of the High Middle Ages, bound up with the Crusades to the Holy Land. The knights were marked out by white mantles with a cross, a long lance, a sword and a shield. The figures capture the riders and their horses in fighting as well as marching attitudes.
Separate the riders and the horses carefully from the sprues and clean up the mold seam lines. A primer, layered colors and a wash in the folds of the mantles and the harness all prove their worth. Fine-tune the white mantles with their cross and the heraldry with a brush, and bring out the metal parts with drybrushing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
