A set of 3D-printed resin tree stumps in 1:72 scale from the Rattlesnake brand. It is not a model kit but a scenic accessory for bringing a diorama, a display case or a base to life. Realistically rendered tree stumps with the texture of bark and growth rings help to create the impression of a forest edge, a swathe cut by battle or an abandoned landscape.
The stumps fill the space around models of armored vehicles, guns and figures and give a scene both scale and a story. They suit winter, autumn and summer settings and can disguise the joints of a base or transitions in the terrain.
First wash any print resin residue off the parts and clean them off the print supports. Glue them to the base with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Acrylics will do for painting: bring the wood to life with a dry brush in lighter tones and a fine flowing wash into the cracks. Moss and lichen can be added with pigments or with scatter material.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and the base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
