U-Boot VII Command section is a resin detail set of the command (central) section of the interior of a Type VII submarine in 1:72 scale.

This resin detail set is NOT a model of a submarine but an accessory meant for a plastic kit of the German Type VII submarine in 1:72 scale. It adds a faithful interior to the central command section, the instruments, controls and equipment of the control room, which a basic kit does not capture to that degree. The set holds cast resin parts, to which photo-etched metal is usually added (for example valve wheels and a ladder).
The aim is to raise the realism of a model where the interior is visible through open hatches or a cut in the hull. The command section is the heart of a submarine, with its periscopes, rudders and controls. The set is more demanding to build and assumes experience of working with resin.
First wash the mold release off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding resin. We recommend painting the interior before the hull is closed up, with a wash and a dry brush to bring out the details.
This is an accessory for a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
