A set of three resin figures in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker CMK. It holds two mechanics and one pilot of US naval aviation (US Navy) from the World War II period, for bringing aircraft models and dioramas to life.
The figures represent the carrier and ground personnel of US naval aviation in World War II — pilots and mechanics in period flight suits and work clothing. The figures give a scene with an aircraft a natural sense of scale and life.
First wash the resin castings to remove the remains of the mold release agent, carefully cut away the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue. For the best result apply a base coat (primer) and paint the figures in shades matching period uniforms, flight suits and accessories; the details of the faces and the gear come out after light toning and a dry brush.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
