1:72 Vietnam LRRP US Helicopter crew (3 fig.) is a set of three resin figures of a US helicopter crew from the war in Vietnam, intended for dioramas and aircraft models in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds three unglued and unpainted resin figures in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker CMK. They portray the crew of a US helicopter unit connected with long range reconnaissance patrols (LRRP) in the period of the war in Vietnam. The figures have realistic proportions and natural poses, suited to bringing a helicopter model or a diorama to life.
Helicopter crews and reconnaissance patrols were among the characteristic elements of the US deployment in Southeast Asia in the 1960s and 1970s. The figures carry period field gear and match scenes around machines of the UH-1 type and similar helicopters used for transport and support.
Before gluing, wash the remains of the mold release agent off the resin castings, carefully cut away the sprue gates and casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways while sanding. Apply a base (primer) before painting; we recommend acrylic paints and fine shading of the field uniform by lightening and dark passes into the details.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
