The Y-wing (with the full fictional designation BTL Y-wing) is a fighter and bomber of the Rebel Alliance from the Star Wars world. Its crew consists of a pilot and an astromech droid. Its characteristic feature is the half-exposed engine and ducting system brought out onto the surface.
