An injection-molded plastic kit of the American nuclear aircraft carrier USS Enterprise in 1:720 scale from Revell. The model captures the massive hull, the flight deck and the characteristic island superstructure of this giant ship. The kit is supplied as a set of plastic parts to be glued and painted.
The USS Enterprise was the first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in the world and for many years also the longest warship of all. She was driven by several reactors and carried a large carrier air wing. She spent over half a century in the service of the US Navy and took part in a number of operations from the 1960s until she was withdrawn. She was nicknamed the Big E.
According to the instructions the hull can be built as a full hull, or it can be adapted into a waterline version and seated on a stand. Glue with thin cement for plastic, and glue the small parts of the flight deck and the aircraft carefully. A primer forms the base; spray the surfaces with an airbrush and bring out the decks with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
