Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Sturmgeschütz III (StuG III) assault gun in 1:76 scale from the Vintage Classics range by Airfix. The kit comes from a classic mold of the early 1960s, so it has the breakdown of its day and simpler detail; the finished model is some 71 mm long and is ideal for collectors of nostalgic Airfix and for beginners.
The StuG III was the most widely built fully tracked armored vehicle of the German army in the Second World War. It was based on the proven chassis of the Panzer III tank, and in place of a rotating turret it had a low fixed superstructure with a powerful 75 mm gun. A low silhouette and decent firepower made it an effective means in attack and in defense alike.
Use a thin glue for plastic and clean up the mold seams of the older mold. Over a primer base, lay dark yellow or the three-color camouflage on with an airbrush. Bring the low superstructure and the running gear out with a wash and dust pigments for a faithful combat look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
