1:9 BMW R 1250 GS ADV Luggage Cases is an add-on set of luggage cases for the model of the adventure touring motorcycle. The Pre-colored release means that the parts are made in color from the start.

This add-on from Meng in 1:9 scale holds the luggage cases together with their carrier frames and mounts, which are fitted onto the model of the touring motorcycle. The release marked Pre-colored has its parts molded straight in colored plastic, so the result can be reached even without an airbrush. It is not a model of the motorcycle but its equipment: the machine itself is obtained separately by the modeler.
The BMW R 1250 GS Adventure is an adventure tourer with a two-cylinder boxer engine that on long journeys is practically never used without a luggage set. The aluminum side cases and the top box belong to the typical look of a machine ready for a long trip and change the silhouette of the motorcycle considerably. That is exactly why the set can move a finished model from a showroom piece to a vehicle with an obvious story.
Before fitting, check that the frame sits on the rear of the model without strain: the cases have to line up with each other, or any crookedness catches the eye at once. Even though the parts are colored, it is a good idea to sand the mold seams down and to cover the spots with a matching shade. The aluminum look can be strengthened with a light pass of graphite along the edges. The maker's stickers, which such cases carry in quantity in reality, round the impression off.
The cases are fitted onto an already built motorcycle model; the machine itself is not in the package.
