1:9 Ukrainian Soldier 02 is the second figure of the large Ukrainian line from BlackSnake Model, again a soldier of the Azov Regiment in a quiet configuration of equipment.

Number two is built to complement number one: both figures belong to the same unit and have comparable gear, but they differ in their stance and in the way the weapon is carried. Anyone who combines the two gets a pair that communicates with each other on a base without having to re-sculpt anything. The material is resin, and the 1:9 format puts the figure among sizeable figure sculpture.
The real subject is a member of the Azov Regiment in present-day field equipment: a vest with ballistic plates, pouches laid out to suit the soldier's own needs, a helmet and a weapon completed with a suppressor. It is precisely the individual layout of the gear that is characteristic of Ukrainian units, and it offers room to set each figure apart with a different color treatment of the insignia and the accessories.
Lay the composition of the pair out before gluing; a piece of double-sided tape is enough for a dry trial of the stance. It is practical to divide the figure into the torso, the arms and the head, to paint each part separately and to join them only once they are finished, because you will not reach the neck and the armpit through an assembled figure. A matte varnish at the end evens the gloss out between the oil and the acrylic.
The package consists of the resin parts only; no paints and no base are enclosed.
