Responsibility details are not available.
Among the metallic shades of the Mecha Color line you will find a whole forge under the numbers 69.058 to 69.065: gunmetal, gold, old gold, copper, bronze and three grades of steel. The number 69.060 belongs to old gold, that is to the tone that is darker, warmer and shifted toward ocher against a pure gold. It is not called old by chance: it is meant to suggest metal that time has passed over, not a freshly polished piece of jewelry.
Most of the line dries matte, but with this shade Gloss is stated in the name and that is important information. A glossy film lets the metallic flakes of the pigment line up parallel with the surface, and that is exactly where the metal impression comes from. Taking it down to matte would weaken the effect, so old gold is usually left glossy and calmed down only with a deliberate dark wash into the hollows.
Decorative trim on armor, unit emblems, engraving on ceremonial pieces of equipment, brass fittings and vessels on dioramas. It also works well as an intermediate step between brass and copper when you are building a machine with visible piping. It suits a large area only rarely, because a saturated metallic paint quickly overpowers everything else.
Metallic pigments are heavier than color ones and sink to the bottom, so shaking is a necessity here, not a recommendation. It is applied thinly, coat by coat, and left to cure properly before the next step. It thins with water. The bottle holds 17 milliliters and the cap has a dropper.
