The Aircobra airbrush for modeling painting. It applies paint in thin, even coats and handles even the fine transitions that a brush cannot manage.
Responsibility details are not available.
An airbrush is the basic tool of modeling painting. Atomizing the paint with air creates a smooth coat with no brush marks, and with it the fine transitions that cannot be achieved with a brush. You will use it for base coats, for masked schemes and for shading and highlighting a surface. The airbrush is connected by a hose to a source of compressed air.
Thin the paint according to the instructions of the paint manufacturer and set the pressure according to the recommendation for the given range and for the airbrush. Always try the spray on paper or an offcut first and only then move on to the model. Apply thin coats and let them flash off between each other, because one thick coat floods the detail and easily runs. Guide the airbrush smoothly and at a constant distance from the surface, and start as well as end the movement off the model.
After each paint, flush the airbrush with a cleaner intended for the range used, and at the end of the work take it apart and clean it thoroughly. The needle and the nozzle are the most sensitive. Pull the needle out toward the rear, never push it through the nozzle, and protect the tip from being bent. Dried paint in the space behind the nozzle tends to be the most common cause of uneven spraying and spitting.
A source of compressed air with a hose is needed for spraying, and extraction or a spray booth does good service. A compressor, a hose, paints, a thinner and a cleaner are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
