The third part of the range, Assorted bolts No.3, offers further shapes of resin fittings for detailing models regardless of the scale of the build.
Responsibility details are not available.
The third installment of the range adds further shapes of small fittings to the previous two. As with those, no scale is given in the designation, and that is right: the builder chooses the size according to what is being worked on. The castings are separate, so they can be laid out exactly where they are needed. The goods come from the Italian firm Royal Model.
Production molds either leave bolt heads out or print them as indistinct bumps. Rubbing them off with abrasive and replacing them with a casting is one of the simplest ways to raise the standard of a model. The difference shows mainly on large smooth surfaces, where the eye has nothing else to catch hold of.
Pick the pieces up with a moistened toothpick tip; they hold on it better than on metal tweezers. Dose the glue in a microscopic amount so that it does not fill the space under the head of the fitting. If you are preparing a regular run of pieces one after another, make a template out of paper tape with the holes pricked out in advance. Let the joints cure thoroughly before spraying, otherwise a small piece will tear off during handling and searching for it on the floor is usually in vain.
The contents are fittings only; the manufacturer does not enclose a base or glue.
