Beech Trees 10 - 18 cm (10 pcs)

HEKI Beech Trees 10 to 18 cm (10 pcs)

The package holds 10 finished models of beeches about 10 to 18 cm tall from the German maker of scenic materials HEKI. Beeches are among the sturdy broadleaves with a dense, rounded crown and read in a model scene as substantial, mature greenery. Their greater height marks them out for creating a deciduous wood, avenues and specimen features in the foreground.

Use

• Creating mature deciduous growth on a layout and in a diorama.
• Avenues, the edge of a wood and specimen trees as a visual dominant.
• Filling out military display bases with substantial greenery.

Usage tips

Taller trees hold better in a deeper hole with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue, or on a reinforcing pin. The shade of the crowns can be evened out by adding fine foliage or with a light dusting of pigment. Irregular groups look more natural than even rows.

Who the set is for

• Layout modelers who are creating a mature deciduous wood.
• Builders of dioramas and military scenes.
• Beginners and experienced modelers alike, thanks to the finished execution.

This is a scenic accessory, not a model kit. The surface, the glue and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
