A set of decals for a model of the MiG-29 fighter in 1:32 scale in the markings of a Russian aerobatic team. It is not a kit but separate markings for a model of your own. The color schemes of aerobatic teams are among the most demanding that can be done on a model, because they cover a large part of the airframe.
The MiG-29 is a twin-engine fighter with pronounced wing-to-fuselage blends and with separately placed air intakes, which closed during taxiing so that the engines would not ingest objects from the runway. The aerobatic team that flies this type is among the best known in the world and its color scheme has become a mark of recognition for the type. Modelers reach for it precisely because it is recognizable at first glance.
Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat, as silvering will show under them on a matte surface. Cut the sheet close to the motif. Lay large areas down from the center toward the edges and press the water out with a soft cloth. On edges, pressed detail and around the panel lines use a decal softener and press the film down with a cotton swab. With extensive color areas it pays to consider whether it would not be better to spray part of the scheme and leave the decals for the lettering and the insignia only.
