Thirty-five tufts of turquoise vegetation six millimeters tall for underwater, icy and magical scenes.

A cold blue-green tone opens up two environments at once. Under water it becomes seagrass around a wreck or around underwater ruins, and in a winter landscape frosted growth that takes its color from the ice around it. Both build on the same trick: the eye reads the blue component in the shade as cold or water, even though what is in front of it is ordinary thin fiber.
The fiber height is six millimeters and there are thirty-five tufts in the package. For one scene the size of a palm that is amply enough; on larger areas it pays to combine the turquoise with a more subdued green, because a rich tone on its own loses its effect over a whole area and looks more like a carpet.
On an underwater scene remember that plants under water do not stand up straight. So once the glue is dry, bend the fibers carefully in one direction, as though a current were carrying them, and turn the other elements, a piece of torn fabric or a chain, the same way. A consistent direction of current is a detail the viewer does not notice, but without it the scene does not work.
If you are planning to pour clear resin over it, make a test on an offcut first. A rich color may show through differently than you expect in a thin layer, and some casting compounds give off heat as they set, which fine materials need not allow for.
