A set of paints for Luftwaffe pilot uniforms by AMMO of Mig Jimenez: four acrylic colors of 17 ml each for painting figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
A flight suit is not just one blue. So that a figure does not look cut out of paper, you need a base tone, one darker for the shadows and two lighter ones to lift the folds. That is exactly how the set is built: it contains four colors chosen according to period uniforms, so you do not have to mix anything or guess whether they go together. Specifically they are AMMO.F-518 Marine Blue, AMMO.F-523 Uniform Blue, AMMO.F-524 Light Sky Blue and AMMO.F-525 Medium Blue.
The range is intended for painting figures, so the work is done with a brush and in thin coats. Dispense the paint onto a palette drop by drop and thin it with water or with the thinner from the same manufacturer. Start with the mid tone, then pull the shadows into the folds and only at the end lay the highlight on the edges. Let the paint dry between coats, otherwise the lower coat softens and the strokes run together. Go over the finished figure with matte varnish so that the uniform does not stay glossy.
The paints are intended for modeling use. Keep them out of the reach of children and close the bottles well after use.
