Stripe masks 12 x 0.5 - 2 mm (Oramask) are a set of thin masking strips of vinyl film from the Czech maker Omask for spraying lines and stripes accurately.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of twelve masking strips of Oramask vinyl film, roughly from 0.5 to 2 mm wide. They serve to mask thin lines, dividing stripes, trims and decorative lines accurately when spraying paint with an airbrush. The strips are cut in advance, which removes the laborious and inaccurate cutting of narrow strips from ordinary tape. They are made by the Czech maker Omask.
Oramask is a self-adhesive vinyl film. It holds well even on rounded and contoured surfaces, gives a sharp edge and resists creeping. Paper washi tape (kabuki) is on the other hand thinner and more compliant for straight edges and fine transitions, but holds less well on more complex curves. This variant is chosen by modelers who need firm and precise masking of lines.
This is a masking aid, not a paint or a kit. Work in a well ventilated room and follow the instructions of the maker of the paint you use.
