Responsibility details are not available.
Mr. Color is a solvent-based modeling paint of the lacquer type. It is applied in thin coats, dries quickly and, once cured, the surface stands up well to abrasion and to masking tape. The layer is thin enough not to flood engraved surface detail, which modelers working in the smaller scales appreciate most.
Neutral gray is a gray tone without any pronounced color cast. The shade carried under this name was the one worn by the undersides of American aircraft during the Second World War. Its use is broader, though: it suits gray parts of vehicles and equipment, small accessories and above all work with other shades, because gray can be used to lighten or mute other colors without introducing a foreign color cast.
Stir the bottle all the way to the bottom, where the pigment settles. For the airbrush, thin the paint with the thinner of the same range, do not use water for thinning, and lay it down in two or three thin coats. Gray tones readily show any unevenness in the surface below, so sand and degrease the model thoroughly beforehand. With a brush, work quickly and in a single pass. Work in a ventilated area and close the bottle carefully after use, or the paint will thicken over time.
The paint will be useful to modelers of aircraft and ground vehicles and to anyone who mixes their own shades. Neutral gray is one of the tones worth keeping in stock even when no gray model is on the bench. The package contains only the paint; thinner, tools and a model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
