Turned metal barrels for the German naval anti-aircraft gun 10.5 cm/65 SK C/33 in 1:700 scale from the manufacturer Flyhawk. This is not a kit — it is a detail accessory that replaces the plastic barrels from a model of the Tirpitz 1942 with precise metal parts with a perfectly round muzzle and a finer profile.
The 10.5 cm/65 SK C/33 gun was the standard heavy anti-aircraft armament of the large surface ships of the Kriegsmarine, the battleship Tirpitz included. Metal barrels look more realistic than plastic, they have no casting seams and they are more resistant to bending.
Cut off the original plastic barrels and clean up the seats. Glue the metal parts with cyanoacrylate glue, and chamfer the edges of the muzzle lightly if need be. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer first for good paint adhesion.
