Copper and its alloys do not turn brown in the air but green and turquoise. The Turquoise Oxide shade imitates exactly that cast and suits ship fittings, old piping, decorative elements of buildings, statuettes or fantastic machinery on which it is to show that it has lain somewhere long unnoticed. The patina is applied onto finished paintwork, that is at the end of a build.
Builders of ships, dioramas, buildings and figures and of models from the world of science fiction and fantasy will value it. It comes out best on a dark metal base, where the turquoise tone contrasts clearly. The volume of 60 ml matches ordinary modeling use, because it is applied in thin layers.
What is supplied is a bottle of 60 ml according to the name of the item. Brushes, varnish and other effect products are to be prepared of your own, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well-ventilated room and store the bottle carefully closed out of the reach of children.
