A collector's resin portrait bust in 1:10 scale from the Life Miniatures brand. It is not a kit but a bust to glue and paint, intended for experienced modelers and figure painters. The package consists of polyurethane resin castings with a base.
The bust portrays John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States. A portrait subject puts the emphasis on the fidelity of the facial features and the expression, which is at the same time the main challenge in the painting.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and clean up the parting seams. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Portrait busts call for careful shading of skin tones: oils or acrylics applied in thin layers work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
