HP.52 Hampden B.Mk.I - airbrush mask for British roundels 1:48 serves for spraying the roundels onto a model of the Handley Page Hampden bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive masking stencils from MH models in 1:48 scale, aimed at the British roundels of the Handley Page HP.52 Hampden B.Mk.I bomber. The roundels are sprayed in paint instead of using decals, so no edge of a carrier film is left on the model and the markings are easy to weather and blend with the surface.
The Handley Page Hampden was a British twin-engine medium bomber used in the early years of the Second World War, characteristic for its narrow fuselage. The British roundels went through several changes of proportion and color during the war, which varies with the particular machine.
With multicolor roundels work in layers from the lightest circle to the darkest and let the paint dry between the layers. The base should be smooth and glossy; where the color is to be rich, spray an opaque white first. Lift the mask off while the paint has not fully cured.
This is a masking set. The kit, paints and decals are not included in the package.
