Panzer Art 1:35 King Tiger commander's cupola, initial bolted pattern, with an MG mount is a resin accessory for models of the King Tiger (Tiger II) heavy tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
A fine resin accessory from Panzer Art in 1:35 scale. It replaces the commander's cupola on the turret roof with a cast cupola of the initial, bolted version and adds a mount for an anti-aircraft machine gun. Intended for models of the King Tiger (Tiger II) heavy tank from early production.
The King Tiger (Tiger II) was a German heavy tank with a long 88 mm gun and heavily sloped armor. Earlier examples had a commander's cupola whose circular base was fastened to the roof with bolts. Around its circumference was a rail for an MG34 machine gun against aircraft. It is precisely this initial bolted version that the set captures.
Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut away the casting blocks with a saw and glue with super glue. Seat the cupola in the opening in the turret roof. The bolt heads and periscopes stand out once painted, with a wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
