A caricature plastic kit of the F-16C fighter in the popular egg plane form. It is not a conventional scale model but a stylized, endearingly chubby version with a short fuselage and a large head, which nevertheless keeps the characteristic features of the Fighting Falcon. The parts are injection-molded in plastic and the build is quick and undemanding, so the model makes a fine restful project even in among serious kits under construction.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter of American design, one of the most widespread combat aircraft in the world. It stands out for its high agility, its digital flight controls and the wide range of weapons it carries. The F-16C version is the single-seat variant with modernized avionics, operated by a number of air forces.
You bond the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic. The model is rewarding to paint with an airbrush or a brush alike; use a primer for a clean transition between shades. Simplified underwing stores are usually included, and they can be set off in different shades. The endearing character is supported by pronounced panel lines and a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
