An airbrush cleaning set

The airbrush is a tool with which cleanliness decides the result more than anything else. Dried paint in the nozzle shows up at once: the spray breaks up, it spits and the gun stops closing. Cleaning by hand with a cloth is not enough, because the most important places are passages a few tenths of a millimeter across. A cleaning set contains the tools with which you get at them, that is typically fine brushes and cleaning needles of various diameters, and possibly a pot or a stand.

Use

• Clean the gun right after work; dried paint is much harder to remove.
• Always pull the needle out backwards; pushing it forward bends the tip in the nozzle.
• Clean the nozzle with the finest tool that will pass through it; a coarser one damages its inner shape.
• Do not press or twist; the nozzle is the most sensitive component of the whole gun.
• After cleaning, try the flow with clean thinner, and only then spray paint.

Who it is for

The set suits anyone who sprays regularly. It is equipment that is not bought to make the model look better, but so that the gun lasts and behaves predictably. Replacing a nozzle and a needle costs many times what such a set does.

When cleaning, work in a ventilated room, use respiratory protection and avoid contact of the thinner with your skin and eyes. Keep out of the reach of children. Thinner and cleaning fluid are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
