Vallejo SFX Corrosion, a metal corrosion effect

Corrosion from the Vallejo range of special effects (Special FX) is a water-based acrylic effect product for imitating corrosion, oxidation and weathered metal faithfully. It is not a covering paint but a ready-made effect that gives metal surfaces texture and the marks of age. It is non-toxic, odorless and comes in a dropper bottle.

Use

  • Applied with a brush, stippled onto surfaces, joints, rivets and edges.
  • Shake the bottle well before use.
  • Combine it with the Rust and Green Rust effects for a layered, realistic patina.
  • Suited to military vehicles, piping and industrial or science fiction dioramas.

Who it is for

For modelers who want a quick and convincing corrosion patina without mixing pigments. Suitable for intermediate and advanced levels alike.

A water-thinnable acrylic, non-toxic and odorless. Store at room temperature out of the reach of children and shake before use.
