Vallejo Still Water

An acrylic product from the diorama effects range, intended for creating calm stretches of water — ponds, puddles, marshes or shorelines. It is poured in layers, levels itself out and once dry stays transparent with a glossy surface. 200 ml package. The product is water-based and the tools are cleaned with water.

Use

  • It is poured into a bounded recess on the base in thin layers.
  • It creates a calm, mirror-glossy water surface.
  • The ground underneath can be painted in the required bottom shade beforehand (the water is transparent).
  • It combines with other effects for ripples, foam and cloudy water.

Who it is for

For diorama and vignette builders who need realistic standing water without using two-part resins.

Keep out of the reach of children. Use in a well-ventilated area; let each layer dry thoroughly.

No, it is a water-based acrylic product. Unlike two-part resins it does not need mixing and it cleans up with water.

The product is transparent, so the color of the bottom is painted onto the ground beforehand. The water then lets that color show through naturally.
