T-shaped ruler with an angle guide from Titans Hobby: a T-square for precise marking out, cutting and checking of angles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A T-square in the shape of the letter T has one fundamental advantage over an ordinary ruler: you rest it against the edge of a sheet and from then on every stroke runs at a right angle without your measuring anything. This one also carries an angle guide, so it can be used to mark out slanted lines at a repeated angle as well. In building from plastic sheet that saves a great deal of time as well as material, because the parts come out right the first time.
When cutting, lead the knife with several light strokes instead of one heavy one, otherwise the blade wanders off and the edge stays frayed. Press the ruler down with your whole palm, not just with your fingertips, and never cut toward your hand. Mark the track on the sheet with a thin pencil before cutting and check whether the square has shifted during the stroke. When working with thin plastic, put a cutting mat underneath, because a hard desk bounces the blade back and the cut comes out wavy.
The tool is intended for modeling use. The edges can be sharp, so keep it out of the reach of children.
