Ultra smooth saw - a fine CMK saw blade

A thin modeling saw blade from CMK with very fine (ultra smooth) teeth. The fine teeth leave a smooth cut and a very narrow kerf, so the blade is intended for precise work and final cuts where a clean edge and minimal removal of material matter. Because it takes away only a little material, it lands exactly where you need it without disturbing the surrounding detail. It is not a kit or a model, it is a modeling tool.

Use and tips

• Cut with light, repeated strokes - the fine teeth take away little material, so do not rely on force.
• Suitable for injected plastic and for resin - accurate separation of parts, cutting narrow grooves and fine adjustments.
• Score the cut first as a shallow notch and only then deepen it step by step.
• For a straight cut use a guide (a ruler or a square) and clean the edges afterwards.
• Do not overload the thin blade with side pressure, so that it does not bend or snap.

For modelers who need a maximally clean and fine cut - detailed conversions, delicate separation of parts and work where a coarser saw removes too much material. It suits anywhere the aim is the least visible kerf and a clean edge with no lengthy clean-up afterwards.
