Grogu is a character from film, not a technical subject, so fidelity of shape is judged against the look in the series: a large head with striking ears, large eyes, plain clothing and a small body. A scale of 1:3 means that this is a fairly large figure in relation to a small subject, and that is exactly why work with paint stands out on it in a way nobody would notice in a small scale.
Fill the parting seams on the figure and sand them carefully, because every trace is visible on a large surface. Apply a primer, and with flesh tones a light gray or white one works well. Spray the base tone with an airbrush and handle the shading with glazes, that is heavily thinned paint applied in several layers rather than one dark stroke. The eyes are decisive on this character: paint them with a fine brush, let them dry and rather repaint a mistake than correct it while wet. The fabric parts get depth from a dry brush and a gentle wash, and at the end unify the surface with matte varnish and go over the eyes in spots with a gloss one.
