3.7 cm Flak 43 muzzle brakes, 1:35, 2 pcs — a 3D-printed resin accessory from GINGER CAT.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin accessory for models in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT: a pair of muzzle brakes for the German 37 mm Flak 43 anti-aircraft gun. The manufacturer gives two pieces in the package. The accessory replaces the injection-molded plastic part, on which the muzzle and the internal openings tend to be blanked off; printed resin allows thin walls and an open muzzle.
The Flak 43 was a German automatic 37 mm anti-aircraft gun that replaced the older Flak 36 in the second half of the war. It had a faster rate of fire and a simplified design for wartime production. The weapon appeared on a towed carriage as well as on self-propelled carriers, the best known of which was the Ostwind anti-aircraft tank, so the accessory suits a model of the gun itself as well as an armored carrier.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
