Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from ICM captures French line infantry from the Franco-Prussian War. The set contains four foot figures - an officer and soldiers in period French uniforms. Beware of confusion: this is the French side of the conflict, not the Prussian one; the two sets differ in uniforms as well as equipment.
The French army in the Franco-Prussian War (1870–1871) looked markedly different from its Prussian opponent. The line infantry wore the characteristic cap (the kepi), blue coats and red trousers that are typical of French soldiers of that time. The set belongs to the 19th century, outside the subject matter of the world wars.
Cut the parts from the sprues, clean up the sprue gates and the mold lines and glue them with liquid cement for plastic; glue the small parts and the equipment separately. When painting, rely on the contrast typical of the French infantry - a blue coat and red trousers. Paint the faces and hands with a layering technique, pick out the folds with a fine wash and the edges with a dry brush. Mount the figures on a temporary stand while you work.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
