Bronco 41.M Turán II is an injection-molded plastic kit of a Hungarian medium tank in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Hungarian 41.M Turán II medium tank in 1:35 scale from Bronco. It is a less common subject: a Hungarian army tank of the Second World War that appears in the modeling range only rarely. The kit is more demanding at the bench, because Bronco breaks even small assemblies down into separate parts.
The Turán was derived from the Czechoslovak Skoda T-21 export tank, for which Hungary obtained a license at the end of the 1930s. The Turán I version carried a 40 mm gun, while the Turán II received a shorter 75 mm gun intended for fire support of the infantry rather than for fighting tanks. The Hungarian army deployed the vehicles on the Eastern Front and, in the closing stages of the war, in the defense of its own territory as well. Against the Soviet T-34 the Turán II was already hopelessly obsolete, yet it remained the most powerful tank of Hungarian manufacture.
Assemble the running gear according to the instructions and always check that both sides sit at the same height; on vehicles with many small road wheels an irregularity is easily missed. Finish and paint the inside of the hull and the running gear before you close the hull up. The Hungarian three-tone camouflage is best sprayed field by field with a slight transition; add a dark wash to the edges and dust effects with pigments on the lower part of the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
