Responsibility details are not available.
A set of 3D-printed replacement parts in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Special Hobby. It contains the armored filler caps of the fuel tanks in the type A form and the pull handles of the fire extinguisher. The manufacturer states that the parts carry markedly better detail than the plastic kit parts.
The M36 Jackson was an American tank destroyer of the end of the Second World War with a 90 mm gun in an open rotating turret. On the upper surface of the hull it had armored filler caps for the fuel tanks and on the side the handles with which the crew set off the fire suppression system of the engine compartment from outside. The vehicle was built in several forms that differ in exactly these small details.
The parts are printed from photopolymer, so thin print supports are left on them. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel or with nippers for photo-etched parts and sand the marks down with fine abrasive paper. They are bonded with super glue, that is with cyanoacrylate, because cement for polystyrene has no effect on this material. Apply a filler primer before painting, which will also reveal any remains of the supports. It is best to sand wet and with your airways protected.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
