An advertising column 1:35 by Plusmodel: two resin castings and a printed paper sheet with posters.
Responsibility details are not available.
An advertising column is doubly useful on a diorama: it creates a vertical element for the composition to lean on, and at the same time it carries text, that is information the viewer reads. A decree, a notice or a torn-down poster says far more about the period than a figure's uniform. The set contains two resin castings and a printed paper sheet from which you cut the posters out and glue them on. It is not a kit but an accessory for a scene.
According to the manufacturer the package contains two resin castings and a printed paper sheet. Paints and glue are not included. The castings have to be cut from the casting blocks.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and true the surface up with a file, and sand with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. Paint the whole column first and only then glue the posters onto the finished surface, ideally with a thin layer of PVA glue. Stick several of them over one another and leave some torn or lifted: a new poster stuck on straight looks as if it came from the printer, while torn layers look like a street.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
