This is an add-on for a model, not a kit of the vehicle: a resin storage rack, that is a basket for equipment and baggage, for the Israeli armored personnel carrier Zelda. The box states 1:35 scale, the period from the 1970s to the 1990s and the designation variant 1, so the manufacturer offers several forms of the same element. The Elefant brand has long concentrated on resin add-ons for Israeli equipment in this scale.
Zelda is the Israeli designation for the M113 carrier in the service of the Israel Defense Forces, progressively fitted out according to experience in action. Storage racks and baskets are among the most visible Israeli modifications of all: the crews carried equipment, baggage, tarpaulins and water supplies in them, because the inside of the vehicle was needed for the soldiers. It is exactly those add-on fittings that turn an ordinary M113 into an Israeli Zelda at first glance.
Wash the parts clean of mold release agent and resin residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces down with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Test-fit dry before gluing to the hull, as the storage rack has to sit on a real surface of the vehicle, and level the mating surface if need be. Paint the rack separately and finish the load it carries only after painting, or you will not get at it.
