Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the single-seat F/A-18A Hornet of the Royal Australian Air Force in the special Worimi scheme, in 1:48 scale. The manufacturer gives 229 parts in gray plastic, 21 clear parts and 22 photo-etched metal parts, with decals for one aircraft. This boxing came out with new decals and is promoted for its generous range of external stores. Kinetic is a Hong Kong brand that has long concentrated on modern combat aircraft in 1:48.
The F/A-18A Hornet is a single-seat American carrier-borne multirole combat aircraft which the Royal Australian Air Force operated from the 1980s until its recent retirement in favor of a newer type. The special Worimi scheme was created as a tribute to the original inhabitants of the area where the Australian Hornets were based, and it is among the most striking schemes ever applied to the type.
Glue the plastic with a thin cement for polystyrene, which is drawn into the joint by capillary action. Apply a primer before painting; with a striking scheme an airbrush is all but essential. Spray a gloss varnish under the decals so that they do not crease or silver, and seal them with a matte or semi-gloss varnish once they have settled. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
