The Green Stuff World 1.5 mm drill bit is a twist drill for a hand drill, suitable for larger pins, gun muzzles and fixing accessories.

A twist drill from Green Stuff World, one and a half millimeters in diameter. It is held in a pin vise type hand drill, but it will also serve in a low-speed micro drill. Compared with the finest sizes it is noticeably stronger, so it will take a little more and suits jobs where a one-millimeter hole is not enough: thicker pins, the muzzles of larger-caliber barrels, or ducts for cables and hoses on dioramas.
This diameter can be broken too, if you press on it or lever the bit in the hole. Drill in short bites and withdraw the bit so that the chips clear from the flute. In a micro drill, keep the speed low, because heated plastic builds up on the cutting edge and the hole then tears. On thicker parts, pilot drill with a finer bit first and only then go to the final diameter. True up the edge of the hole by turning the bit in your hand.
For modelers who join parts with wire or magnets, for builders of vehicles with barrels and hoses, and for diorama makers. Together with the one-millimeter bit it will cover most ordinary modeling holes.
The bit has a sharp cutting edge and is brittle. Store it out of the reach of children and protect your eyes while working.
